Original British 1907 Bayonet that is Australian made. The Ricasso is marked with 2 Broad Arrows , the bend test “X” and 2 Inspector’s marks and “MA”, the obverse has “MA”, “1907”, “1” and “9  41”. The Guard has the Australian “D” and Arrow, the Pommel has “B  79190”, one grip has “Australia” and the other has “MA  ’41”.  The blade has not been sharpened and there are no nicks and still has traces of grease or cosmoline towards the tip.
The
leather scabbard has “Mangrovite” stamped along the seam, the
Mouthpiece has “OA” near the staple and the Ferrule also has “OA” near
its staple. Overall, this is an excellent piece.
